Directions:   Apply Nature's Best™ Lice Away Enzyme Shampoo to dry hair, scalp or any affected areas.  Make sure to saturate and massage into hair and any affected areas thoroughly.  Allow Nature's Best™ to remain on affected area for 10 minutes. What are head lice? Head lice are parasitic insects that feed on human blood and cause severe itching.

Where did my child get head lice?  Close contact or sharing hats, ear muffs, helmets, combs, brushes, head phones, etc. from an infested person.

What are the symptoms? Usually, the first symptom of head lice is intense itching or scratching on the back of the head or behind the ears.

How often can I use a lice shampoo?  Typical lice shampoos that contain pesticides should be used sparingly and with extreme caution.  Nature's Best™ Lice Away Enzyme Shampoo is safe, contains no pesticides, is non-toxic and can be used as often needed without worry.

Body Lice:  Body Lice and their eggs are generally found in the seams of clothing, particularly in the waistline and armpit area.  They move to the skin to feed, then return to the seams of the clothing where they lay their eggs.  Clothing worn and not laundered before treatment should be disinfected by the same procedure as described for head lice, except that sealing clothing in a plastic bag is not recommended for body lice because the nits (eggs) from these lice can remain dormant for a period of up to 30 days.

Pubic (Crab) Lice: Pubic (crab) lice may be transmitted by sexual contact; therefore, sexual partners should be treated simultaneously to avoid re-infestation.  The lice are very small and look almost like brown or gray dots on the skin.  Pubic lice usually cause intense itching and lay small white eggs (nits) in the skin surface. In hairy individuals, pubic lice may be present on the short hairs of the thighs and trunk, underarms and occasionally on the beard and mustache.  Underwear should be disinfected by machine washing in hot water; drying, using the hot cycle for at least 20 minutes.
